Rodent Baiting & Trapping Program

Rats and Mice are definitely unwanted pests in Hawaii.  The two rodent species most likely to share our habitat is the roof rat and the common house mouse.   These two pests can cause considerable damage and are capable of spreading disease.  Damage can be caused by their gnawing in addition to the food that is spoiled.  To control rats and mice it is our policy to trap on the inside and bait on the outside.  For trapping we use glue boards and snap traps.  When baiting we use anti-coagulant baits in tamper proof bait stations.  The baits are safe around animals and humans when used in this manner.  In addition to trapping and baiting we may also need to do some exclusion work   Exclusion involves blocking the rodent entrance areas.  Sanitation is a big aspect of rodent control.  The customer is requested to keep food sealed.

Rodent Exterior Baiting Program

Some locations in Maui are under constant pressure from rodents. In these cases we recommend an exterior baiting program to go along with either our exclusion or trapping programs. Exterior baiting will be conducted on a monthly basis. Rodent consumption levels will be recorded and available upon request.

Rodent Interior Trapping

Sometimes it is necessary to do some good old fashion trapping to remove a rodent. Multiple trappings are generally required to erradicate a home or business of unwanted pests. We will come out to your home or business, identify the areas where rodents are consistantly running and eliminate the problem.

Rodent Exclusion

If you want to rodent proof your home or business we can help with that too. We will conduct a meticulous and thorough inspection of the property and identify rodent entry points and damage that they have done to your home. We will then close off and seal all entry points to your property. Whether it be a chewed hole or a building imperfection we will find it and repair it. Rodent exclusion is preceded by the trapping of all rats sealed inside your attic, crawl space, home or business and removal of them once caught.

Smelly Attic!

Got a smelly attic! All the rodents are gone but all their droppings and urine smells are still there, we can help you with that too. Depending upon attic size we can vacuum and sanitize the area.
